Freestyler Anton Kushnir wins gold at World Cup event
Belarus' freestyle skier Anton Kushnir wins the aerials in the freestyle World Cup event in Deer Valley, USA.
Olympic champion of 2010 Alyaksei Hryshyn won a bronze medal there, BELTA reports.
It is the second success for Anton Kushnir this season. He won a silver medal in the first stage of the World Cup in Beida Lake, China. Alyaksei Hryshyn won his first medal – he was in the 6th and 15th position in the first two stages.
Freestylers will compete in two more stages of the World Cup next week – in Val Saint-Côme, Canada, and in Lake Placid, USA. The season will end at Sochy Olympics in February, 2014.
