Lukashenka, Putin and Nazarbayev to meet in Astana

Alyaksandr Lukashenka will meet with Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Astana today. The state leaders are planning to discuss trade and economic challenges in the Eurasian Economic Union. Some international issues connected with the interests of the three states will also be discussed.

Lukashenka, Nazarbayev and Putin’s trilateral meeting was supposed to be held last week but was postponed for some reason. Lukashenka arrived in Kazakhstan yesterday. The Kazakhstani President mentioned Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s part in settling the crisis in Donets Basin. The Belarusian President wished a victory at the next presidential election (April 26) to Nursultan Nazarbayev.
