Mercedes squeezed between two trains near Maladzechna (photo)
The incident occurred in Alyahnovichy, Maladzecha District, on the evening of November 3.
A Mercedes with Russian number plates collided with a passenger train Kaliningrad-Moscow at a level crossing. As a result, the car was squeezed between the train and a freight train.
The train passengers and engine drivers were not injured. Three Belarusians from the car including a 23-year-old driver died. One more passenger (a local inhabitant) was injured and taken to hospital.
The train operation was resumed 3.5 hours later. 6 freight and 9 passenger trains were delayed.
