Banks in Minsk are selling US dollars at Br 11260-11280 on Thursday, December 18.
Euroradio has visited several exchange offices in the centre of Minsk. Dollars were available at 11260-11280 rubles in the morning. The Euroradio reporter noticed such exchange rates in Belarusbank and Belagroprombank. People were queuing.
Some banks are selling dollars for 11400. For example, Absolutbank in Kulman Street, 21b.
However, the National Bank’s dollar exchange rate for December 18 is only 10880 rubles.
