Moscow ready to publish Barroso and Putin’s conversation
The conversation about ‘the seizure of Kiev’ may be made public, Russian representative in the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said.
Moscow is ready to publish the conversation of Russian President Vladimir Putin with President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso to avoid the misinterpretation of the conversation in mass media.
Chizhov has sent a letter to Barroso in connection with it, interfax.by reports. The conversation will be made public in two days if the European official does not object to it.
The publication of the conversation between Putin and Barroso in the western mass media caused a scandal. The MEP mentioned the Russian troops that had crossed the Ukrainian border and Putin replied: “It is not a problem. I can seize Kiev in two weeks if necessary.”
