Only one MP asked questions during budget discussion
The House of Representatives of the National Assembly adopted the republican budget for 2017 in the first reading on October 3. 98 MPs voted pro, 1 person voted contra and 5 people abstained.
Only one MP (Uladzislau Shchepau) asked questions to the Minister of Finance Uladzimir Amaryn during the discussion of the budget. He was interested in the paragraph dedicated to excess profits. The paragraph will be removed, the Minister replied. The government will be able to make changes to the budget every quarter.
The absence of questions testified to good preparatory work, Amaryn noted.
