People's Referendum to focus on president's terms, joining EU
The Movement for Freedom also plans to get people's vote on the right for private property for land and the opportunity to elect local authorities.
Deputy Chairman of the Movement for Freedom Yuras Hubarevich has told Euroradio about this:
"The Movement selected five issues after the trips to the regions and talks with the people. We wanted to offer these issues for analysis together with our colleagues. Among the other issues, there are limitation or presidency terms, enterprises that damage the environment, and the course towards the EU."
Today, five organizations support the idea of the people's referendum, including the Movement for Freedom, the Tell the Truth campaign, and the BPF party. The final list of issues will be completed by October 24.
