Police call against domestic violence
The prophylactic action "Stop Violence!" is held in Belarus on September 18-19.
One murder and three cases of severe bodily damage are recorded each day in Belarus, on average. More than 100 people get killed by their family and close friends annually. Every third crime in Belarus is committed under the influence of alcohol.
During the action, the policemen will make speeches in working collectives, educational establishments and places of residence. It is also plan to hold open trials on the criminal cases and administrative offenses against those who made domestic violence happen in their families, BelaPAN informs.
