Polish minority activist detained near Shchuchyn
The Union of Poles in Belarus deputy chairman Mechyslau Yaskevich and activist Veranika Sebastyanovich were detained by the police near the town of Shchuchyn, Polish minority activist Andrei Pachobut told Euroradio. Pachobut said they were charged with transporting 'illegal literature'. They were detained when on a traditional visit to the Polish army veterans.
