BATE workers are promised a pay rise
The wages will be increased by 20%. Representatives of the President’s Administration have promised to increase February wages.
Let us remind you that a spontaneous protest action was organized at Barysau Automobile and Tractor Equipment Plant on February 13. Workers of the workshops №17 and 18 expressed their dissatisfaction with low January wages – about 1.5 million roubles. People suspended their work. Representatives of the plant’s administration noted down all the demands and promised to give a response on February 15.
According to BelaPAN, the meeting was organized on Wednesday. A 20% pay rise was promised to workers. However, not all the workers were satisfied with the promises. One of the workers demanded a bigger increase and it was suggested that she signed an unsolicited dismissal. The woman refused to sign the document.
