Embassies of Belarus, France and Japan picketed in Vilnius
The action was conducted by the activists of the ecological movement Atgaja.
According to the information provided by IA Regnum, the pickets started near the Japanese Embassy. The activists lighted mourning candles to commemorate the victims of the accident at the NPP "Fukusima-1". Then they moved to the French Embassy, where they protested against participation of the French company "Alstom" in construction of the Russian NPP in Kaliningrad region.
The Belarusian Embassy has become their finishing point. The activists did not cover the Embassy of Poland although this country also declared its readiness to build an NPP. The ecologists explained that they cannot cover everything at a time.
