Horki detained to stand trial in Drybin
Alyaksandr Lukashenka is expected to visit Horki today and security measures have been redoubled there.
The hearing started in Horki at first, informs the BCD press service. It was closed – neither human rights activists nor journalists were able to enter the building. Only Tatstsyana Shaputska’s mother was let in.
Let us remind you that democratic activists arrived in Horki on August 2. They demanded to allow political prisoner Zmitser Dashkevich to meet his lawyer. The administration of Horki colony did not satisfy their demands and activists organized a picket in response to it. Policemen detained 14 participants of the picket. Zmitser Shurhai, Yauhen Skrabets, Nasta Palazhanka, Mikola Dzemidzenka, Ivan Shyla, Tatstsyana Shaputska, Yuliya Mihailava, Hanna Sharuba, Raman Vasilyeu, Vyachaslau Barysau, Alyaksandr Vyalitchanka, Alyaksei Syamchyla and Uladzimir Radkevich are among the detained.
