Nuclear power gaining support base in Belarus?
Expert from Nuclear Power Research Institute in Sosny Vyachaslau Kuishynau says nuclear antagonists are on decline in Belarus
Over 50% of poll respondents support the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (NPP) now, he says. The Institute has noticed that the number of NPP opponents is decreasing.
Vyachaslau Kuishynau: “I think people are less inclined to trust something they know little about. When people know what energy is for, how it is made, they become our supporters."
However, Kuishynau did not elaborate how many people had been polled.
