Roman and Greek Catholics and Protestants prepare for Christmas
One of the most important Christian holidays is celebrated on the night on December 24-25.
Christian
Orthodoxies in Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt also
celebrate Christmas on that day. Christian Orthodoxies and Greek Catholics who
use Julian calendar celebrate the Nativity of Christ on January 7, like the
Belarusian Orthodoxies.
A holy mass will take place in Minsk Catholic Church of the Holy Mother of God
Maria at 19.00 on December 24, in Polish. The mass in the Belarusian language
will be served at 21.40, informs catholic.by
Two holy masses will be also served in St.Roch Catholic Church - the first one
at 19.00 (in English), and at 22.00 (in Belarusian). Two masses will be also
served in the Red Catholic Church - at 20.00 (in Belarusian) and at 22.00 (in
Polish). The night holy mass will be served in Belarusian here.
