Trial against participants of strike in Bruzgi postponed till Thursday
The strikers found a new lawyer and he achieved agreement with the judge to postpone the trial.
On August 2,the trial against participants of Bruzgi strike has been postponed till Thursday, August 4. The trial is taking place in a closed regime in Hrodna.
Let us remind you, 36 strikers are standing trial. They protested against introduction of limitations with regard to quantity of imported products and number of foreign trips by the authorities on June 12.
According to the information provided by the press-center of the BCD party's steering committee, the authorities have started the third stage of harassment of Bruzgi strikers. Arrest of the strikers was the first stage, court trial for the material damage allegedly caused by them - the second. Now the authorities are trying to press those who helped to transport the cars from abroad to Belarus, by summoning them to tax inspection offices asking where they had taken the money to buy cars.
