Valyantsin Stefanovich: "Vyasna" to resume work after New Year
Human rights organization "Vyasna" loses its office today. HR defenders and journalists gather at the office since morning.
Valyantsin
Stefanovich has told Euroradio about this. According to him, Minsk Gas Service
workers came in the morning to switch off the gas stove.
Ales Byalyatski's posters are pasted on the office walls. On Friday, the human
rights defenders carried out the documents and staff not enlisted by the
judicial enforcement agents.
According to Stefanovich, the activity of "Vyasna" will be resumed in
the full scope after the New Year:
Stefanovich:
"No one will go anywhere.
We had an assembly of the organization this weekend, in the Human Rights House.
All our departments were present - 18 departments, more than 50 people. It was
an annual meeting - we summarized this year's results and made plans for the
upcoming year. Naturally, we will continue our activity. No one is going to
leave or retire. We will include some changes for several months, but after the
New Year "Vyasna" will resume its activity in the full scope. We are
not going anywhere".
According to preliminary information, the public reception of "Vyasna"
will work at the office of the movement "For Freedom" so far.
