Russia to supply 5.85 million tons of oil to Belarus in quarter IV
Belarusian PM Mihail Myasnikovich and Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak have come to the agreement during their meeting in Minsk.
They met on August 7, BELTA reports. Additional oil supplies from Russia to Belarus in the 4th quarter of 2014 and the balance of oil products and crude oil in the Customs Union were the main topic on the agenda. The countries agreed to make a decision about the balance before September 15, 2015.
Russia is ready to supply 23 million tons of oil next year on condition that Belarus supplies 3.3 million tons of oil products, the Russian Minister of Energy said. Both sides also discussed the possibility of increasing the Russian oil transit through Belarus.
