Russia suspends coal supplies to Ukraine
The reason for the suspension is not economic, Ukrainian Minister of Energy Yuri Prodan says.
Ukrainian Minister of Energy Yuri Prodan has confirmed to Ukrainian Pravda that Russian companies have suspended coal supplies to Ukraine. It was done on the evening of November 21, the official said. It is not clear when the supplies will be resumed.
Prodan does not know why Russian companies have suspended coal supplies but the reason is not economic. Ukrainian companies pay for coal on time, he said.
