Three UN peacekeepers killed in Sudan
17 more Blue Helmets were wounded. The peacekeepers escorted the drinking water convoy that went from El Geneina to the UN base in West Darfur.
The convoy was shot by a big group of unknown people, ITAR-TASS reports. After a long-time shooting, UNAMID groups that arrived from the missions located in Hor-Abesh and Manavashi managed to fight them off. Three warriors from Senegal died, 17 peacekeepers, including two women, were wounded.
