Belarus border crossing fee is back

Vitsebsk and Brest regions are returning the fee for crossing the border with EU countries. Unlike last year, now the decisions of the regional executive committees are untimely, that is, they will be valid until revoked.
The fee for cars will be refunded from February 1, 2025. As in the previous year, it will be a base value, i.e. 42 BYN.
On the evening of January 11, there were 2,150 cars waiting to leave for Poland at the Brest border crossing. That is, the fee from them alone would amount to 90,3 thousand rubles (about 26K USD).
