Copernicus center in Warsaw (photo-report)
Euroradio has visited the museum of experimental science, which opened this year in Warsaw. It was impossible to get there before due to huge queues.
They say, there is a similar center in Boston, which is several times bigger. The sense of the museum is that it is interesting and useful to spend a day there for a whole family, there are showpieces and attractions for different ages.
You can play the "brain game" - the one who gets relaxed at the most wins, you can try to assemble-disassemble a human being from spare parts (a big model of a human body and its organs), and also check how much water your body contains, or draw your friend's portrait with the help of optical apparatus, and many other things.
You can also buy popular science games for chidren, quizzes and other funny things "for the brain". Also, a planetarium is planned to be opened in the Copernicus Center in June 2011.
Those who wish to visit this center in Warsaw: it is located at the address ul. Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 20, prices for tickets are 13 - 22 zlotych, working hours 9 a.m.-7 p.m., closed on Mondays.
