Dozari club: We are not dismantling memorial plaque
The club administration has refuted the information about dismantling a WWII memorial plaque because it is in visitors’ way.
Dozari representatives did not understand Euroradio at first. There is a memorial plaque in honour of war hero Tryfan Lukyanovich installed 10 metres away from the entrance to the club, we explained. The club has nothing to do with its dismantling, they replied.
“We have already contacted the mass media that wrote that we were doing it and they have published a refutation.”
Interfax photographed the memorial plaque installed in honour of Soviet solder Tryfan Lukyanovich being removed near the night club Dozari in September 24. He saved a German girl but died in April 1945. Lukyanovich was a Belarusian born near Lahoisk. There is a street named after him in Minsk.
