Fire in Vitsebsk hostel, 23 people evacuated (photo)
The incident occurred on the night of August 6. The fire started in Chkalov Street.
The 29-year-old inhabitant of the room where the fire started was not there at that moment – he had gone on vacations a week before. Over 2 dozen people were evacuated from the seventh, eighth and ninth floors. Nobody was injured.
The refrigerator and microwave were damaged by the fire. It probably started due to a short circuit in the refrigerator.
