Official’s car insurance worth of 18 months of average Belarusian’s work
Vitsebsk Province Executive Committee has announced a car insurance tender for the head of the committee – 90 million roubles!
The information about a 2010 Audi А8 W12L can be found on the website of state purchases. A Belarusian with an average wage will have to work 18 months to make 90 million roubles.
Interestingly, the insurance company was not able to find a tariff of 90 million roubles for a 2010 car at first. The insurance of such cars usually costs 4.5-4.6 million dollars (almost 50 million roubles).
Vitsebsk Province Executive Committee does not think that the car insurance is too expensive:
“It is not expensive! Read the law!”
By the way, the insurance payment will total over 1.3 billion roubles.
