Azaranka defeats Williams, winning Qatar tournament
The score of the intensive game which lasted for nearly 3 hours is 7:6 (8:6), 2:6, 6:3. Victoria looses her world #1 title since Monday though.

Victoria Azaranka managed to confirm her title of the tournament winner - last
year she also won this major tennis contest in Qatar. However, last year she
had Samantha Stosur as a rival, while this year Victoria has to pull the
victory from the grasp of one of the world's most brutal players - Serena
Williams.
Last time they played against each other was on December 9, 2012 - it was an
exhibition game in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Azaranka also won then - 6:3, 7:5. Before
this, Williams gave practically no chance to her: the score of their personal
meetings was 12:1 to Serena. Today the score became 12:3, and the Belarusian
won a prestigious tournament.
