“Three Russian Letters” from Zigzag
On March 11, the Good Thoughts Café will host an unplugged presentation of a video by Zigzag band after their song “Three Russian Letters”, devoted to antiglobalism, cursing, ‘goodfellas’ culture and the culture of “screwdriver”.
The previous video after the band’s “Song Of The Wave” was periodically screened on TV channels. But it is understandable that we will not see the new video on TV. It is available at the Internet at http://zigzag.n5.ru
Apart from composing this song, the lead singer and guitarist of the band, Ihar Zahumenau also directed and animated the video. He had earlier directed a clip after the song “Mine-Free World”.
With this new song, the musicians have drifted away from synthetic-pop romantics towards a harder electrical punk. This is why the song was denied rotation not only on TV but on the Belarusian FM radio stations as well.
