Uladzimir Makei meets OSCE mission head (photo)
The diplomats have discussed the preparation for the election and organization of international observation.
Belarusian Minister for Foreign affairs Uladzimir Makei met with head of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission Jacques Faure in Minsk on August 26. They discussed a number of issues connected with the preparation for the election and organization of international observation as well as the participation of the OSCE mission in it, the Belarusian MFA press service reports.
Belarus confirmed its readiness to take all the necessary measures to conduct the election according to the national legislation and international commitments. Belarus hopes for international observers’ impartial and unbiased approach to the assessment of the election campaign in our country.
