Activists to ask government to replace Russian TV for Ukrainian, Kazakh
The "Civil Control" campaign has been started by a number of independent trade unions and public associations in Mahileu.
This is a one-city campaign with mostly informational content, aimed at "struggle against bureaucracy and slovenliness".
The "Civil Control" activists are going to appeal to the government with a demand to decrease the number of Russian TV-channels that broadcast at the Belarusian territory, as they "incite ethnic hatred and hostility". They will ask to replace the Russian TV-channels with Ukrainian and Kazakh ones, informs BelaPAN.
