Yarmoshyna: OSCE leaders were shocked when they heard what Lazavik had said
The CEC Chairperson gave an interview to "SB. Belarus Today".
In the said interview, she is speaking
about the future election, the society's moods, and recalls her journey to the
capital of Austria several times.
Let us remind you, on July 12 the "travel banned" Chairperson of the
Central Elections Committee Lidziya
Yarmoshyna went
to Vienna where she took part in the OSCE conference "Democratic elections
and observation thereof". Besides, she was met there by the picket
organized by Belarusian immigrants.
In the interview, Yarmoshyna calls the conference "a scandalous
meeting" which she was "admitted to for the first time".
"You know, when you get there, you face such a well-coordinated, bureaucratic and soulless position... like if you contradict a wall..., - says CEC Chairperson.- They just don't want to listen to you... When I was in Vienna, and at that very moment the CEC Secretary said that in his opinion we should not invite any observers at all, the OSCE leaders were just shocked. They couldn't understand how it could be when a Chairperson says one thing and the Secretary says something controversial".
