12 countries host Orsha Battle anniversary flashmob
Participants were photographed with "Russian army go home" signs.
Flashmob organizers justified their campaign in the following way: "Russian military bases are located in Belarus without consent of the people, thus a covered occupation of our country is taking place. To speak out against the Russian military bases on our soil and to mark the famous battle, we call for flashmobs in cities, using pictures with the sign "RUSSIAN ARMY GO HOME."
As the site forbelarus.org notes, the campaign took place in 20 cities - Berlin, Brussels, New York, Vilnius, Prague, Lviv and others. Belarusian cities - Minsk, Mogilev, Rechitsa, Sharkaushchyna, Maladzechna, Gomel, Barysau- also were noted for having the signs.
