12 fires in Glybokaye district since New Year
12 fires took place in the Glybokaye district since early this year, killing a total of 7 people, reports Westki.info 5 people died in the same district in the whole year of 2008. This has made local emergencies ministry officials to inspect fire safety in the district. They checked over 100 houses and detected over 500 violations of the fire safety procedures. In 22 cases, people were penalized for gross violations of fire safety.
