About 300 people have gathered in Independence Avenue between Yakub Kolas and Victory Square.
Leaders of the BNF party Lyavon Barshcheuski and Victar Ivashkevich who managed to escape from the police siege are among them. All the ways leading to the place of the meeting are still blocked.
According to Barshcheuski, the organizers are waiting for people to arrive and then they will decide where to go. The police urge the present to go the metro station “Victory Square” and head for the Academy of Sciences – the place where the authorities allow them to gather.
