Artist Ales Pushkin promises "fun action" on Freedom Day
Controversial artist Ales Pushkin plans to stage performance action in the village of Bobr, Krupki district on March 25, the Freedom Day. He describes the planned performance as "a fun action". Pushkin shared some of the details of the action in an interview with the European Radio for Belarus:
"At the central square in the village of Bobr, there will be a huge table. On the table, there will be a beautiful cake "90th Anniversary of BNR". There will also be multi-colored bird-houses standing near the table, because it is the symbol of the spring. Their color will be bright blue, white, white-red-white and even the color of Europe.
There will be two flags -- Europan and white-red-white -- standing next to the table. There will be Pushkin, his children and his wife. We will be informing by-passers that the Belarusian National Republic (BNR) was declared 90 years ago".
Pushkin's family will also hand out calendars and treat by-passers to the cake.
