Babruisk officials to study English and German

The head of Babruisk City Executive Committee Dzmitry Bonahau expressed a desire that employees of its departments and services should start learning foreign languages more actively. The idea was expressed at a meeting dedicated to staff issues. In his opinion, officials should focus their educational efforts on the German and English languages in the first place. Dzmitry Bonahau suggests acquiring the mentioned languages quickly, reports the City Executive Committee’s newspaper “Babruisk Life”. In the opinion of the head of the committee, the measures are caused by the fact that the number of foreign citizens’ appeals sent to the City Executive Committee keeps increasing every year.
