Belarus marks Science Day
The Day of Belarusian science is marked today in Belarus. President Alexander Lukashenka congratulated Belarusian scientists, researchers and university professors.
He stressed that science's contribution to the development of the country is of paramount importance. Thanks to the state-of-the-art technologies, Belarus will be able to reach a new level of accomplishing long-term tasks.
"Belarusian scientific collectives must bring new ideas and efficient technologies that will lead to a better quality of life", BELTA quotes Lukashenka as saying.
