Belarus to open General Consulate in Shanghai
The Belarusian General Consulate will be opened this year in the Chinese city of Shanghai, reports Interfax.
The press office of Alexander Lukashenka wrote after his meeting with Belarus's Ambassador to China Anatol Tozik that "Shanghai and the neighboring provinces is an economically developped region with the population of around 600 million. It is an important region for Belarus".
The Consulate is expected to make more active the bilateral contacts between the countries.
