BNF leader Lyavon Barshcheuski is going to resign
The head of BNF Lyavon Barshcheuski will resign before party meetings needed to select a presidential candidate are organized. He claimed it at a meeting of the party council on January 17.
L.Barshcheuskі has taken the decision “to take part in the selection of a presidential candidate alongside with other contenders on equal terms”.
The party meeting is appointed for April or May. That is why the politician says that it is difficult to tell the exact date of his resignation.
L.Barshcheuskі also informed that “a coalition may be created by the BNF presidential contender”.
Next presidential election will take place in Belarus by February 8, 2011.
