Candidate in Mahilyow caught commission when throwing in ballot papers
Maria Kulmanava, a candidate for the Mahilyow city and regional councils from the Belarusian Christian Democracy, has intercepted two ballot papers from a member of the electoral commission. In presence of the candidate, a member of the commission tried to throw two ballot papers into the ballot box. One ballot paper was marked in favor of his boss, the head of district department for education, Alexander Kursakou.
Kulmanava: "A member of the commission came up to me, asking to sort out this issue, becae s could be fired from job. But I refused, because jsice shouldbe respected. If they did so in my presence, what can we say about the early voting procedure?"
The candidate has wrote a complaint over the actions of the commission member.
