Central Election Commission does not register “autoreferendum” group in time
The head of the BNF Party Alyaksei Yanukevich has informed ERB about it. Let us remind you that, according to the law, May 14 is the last day when the initiators of “the autoreferedum” had to receive a reply about the registration of the initiative group.
The initiators phoned the CEC to find out the decision, informed Yanukevich:
Yanukevich: "We phoned the Central Election Commission and they said they had not received a reply of the Office of the Public Prosecutor and the Ministry of Justice that were conducting a check-up. As soon as they get the replies they will invite us to the next meeting of the commission. The decision will be taken there”.
The head of the BNF party hopes that the decision will be taken next week. Otherwise, the initiators of the autoreferendum will lodge a complaint about the action of the CEC.
