Estonia clash activists face criminal prosecution

Over 60 criminal cases have been opened in Estonia following the violence in late March. 300 people are facing charges of looting after the Russian-speaking activists burned cars and broke into stores after the government relocated the controvesial Bronze Soldier war memorial from downtown.


50 people still remain in police custody at the moment.


The stand-off began on April 26 after the Estonian government decided to move the Bronze Soldier.
