EU transport and energy experts visiting Minsk
A group transport and energy experts from the European Commission today started a two-day visit in Minsk. Janis Aizsalnieks, the head of TACIS Office in Minsk, said the experts will today hold negotiations with the representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Belarus, reports Belapan.
On January 29, the experts will have a meeting at the Ministry of Energy. The first round of negotiatios between EU experts and their counterparts from Belarus took place in June 2007.
The second meeting was initially scheduled for October 2007, but it was postponed for an indefinite term due to the arrests of opposition members in August and September in Belarus.
