Health Ministry reveals possible reason for children's poisoning in Mazyr
Physicians say these are the products delivered from the warehouse of the state company "School Food', cooked at the schools' food units.
This has been informed by BELTA with a reference of the Health Ministry. According to the Ministry's officials, the epidemiological investigation is in progress.
Meanwhile, the Investigatory Committee has started a criminal case upon the fact of mass poisoning of Mazyr schoolchildren.
As Euroradio informed before, a total of 71 pupils of 9 schools got to the contagious isolation ward of Mazyr city hospital on September 19 and 20. These were mostly the pupils of municipal schools. Food poisoning was the preliminary diagnosis. Most children were sent home after they got proper medical assistance. 13 children remained in hospital under the doctors' control. 8 patients are in the satisfactory conditions, 5 - in a condition of the medium severity level with clear positive dynamics.
