Journalist stands trial for translating Hitler into Azerbaijani
A trial of the editor-in chief of the “Hural” newspaper Avyaz Zenaily has started in Baku. The journalist is accused of arousing international dissention for having translated Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” into Azerbaijani.
The case against Avyaz Zenaila was started after the translation of some passages from “Mein Kampf” had been published in the “Hural” newspaper.
Employees of the Institute of Philosophy of the Azerbaijani Academy of Sciences analyzed the text and found “signs of sympathy to Hitler” in it.
