Lukashenka: Conflict in Ukraine needs to be liquidated (video)
We are not trying to settle the conflict but Belarus will do what it can if it is asked to, the Belarusian President said.
Belarus is not going to send peacemakers to Ukraine, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said.
Lukashenka: “If our peacemakers are to go anywhere, I will go there first. My eldest son will go there too. This is not someone else’s conflict. They are our neighbours. We need to do what we can to settle the conflict. If we are able to do it, we will do it.”
Belarusians will do everything possible if asked, BELTA quotes Lukashenka.
The state leader also recalled the recent meeting of the contact group in Minsk. The participants agreed to exchange captives and the exchange started, he noted. The next meeting will be organized ‘soon’, Lukashenka believes.
