Belarus expects 'a world-level breakthrough' in science, President Lukashenka said when meeting the country's leading scientists in Minsk on Monday.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has demanded ‘a world-level breakthrough’, BELTA reports.
"We are not rich in natural resources but we have great intellectual potential and competent specialists,” Lukashenka said. “However, our country has not achieved anything special in the high tech industries yet. The things you have showed at the today’s exposition are good and important. I am speaking about the priority branches, the beacons we need to focus on.”
