Lukashenka: Nobody should be simply made redundant
The state is fulfilling all its social obligations, Alyaksandr Lukashenka announced on March 15. He conducted a meeting dedicated to the social, budget and financial spheres. Vice PM Natallya Kachanava, deputy head of the President’s Administration Valery Mitskevich, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Mariana Shchotkina and Minister of Finance Uladzimir Amaryn took part in it.
Lukashenka was informed about the situation with the wages and some difficulties connected with paying workers on time. Every able-bodied citizen must have the opportunity to work, BELTA quotes the President. Nobody should be simply made redundant and it is necessary to help everyone get a job, Lukashenka stressed.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka also asked about the progress in the discussion of the possible variants of the pension reform. At least 50 thousand jobs will be created for the reform, Shchotkina replied.
