Policemen and foresters have organized posts in forests and along roads in Masty District to prevent illegal felling of fir-trees.
They are also patrolling the borders of Masty, district villages, railway stations and bus stops. People engaged in illegal felling of trees will be subjected to administrative responsibility. They may be fined from 20 to 50 base amounts (from 700 thousand to 1 million 759 thousand roubles) and felled trees will be confiscated from them.
