Minsk police “to hunt” for drunkards near shops for two weeks
Minsk police will conduct an action “Well-Being” from August 8 till August 23. Policemen are going to reveal antisocial personalities during it, reports “Interfax-West”.
Policemen will be waiting for them near shops twice a day – in the morning and in the evening. Drunken people will be delivered to sobering-up stations, registered in the narcological dispensary and sent away for treatment.
The police remind that more than 200 Minsk alcoholics were sent to sobering-up stations during a similar event in January and February.
By the way, policemen will patrol purlieus alongside with shops – beaches and parks. They will also visit chronic alcoholics and family brawlers at home.
