More than 400 signatures against nuclear power plant construction collected in Mahileu Region
More than 4000 signatures against the construction of a nuclear power plant have been collected in Mahileu Region. It became known during a meeting of civil activists from Mahileu Region.
The majority of its participants noted that the authorities practically detached the society from discussing the preparation for the construction of a nuclear power plant. That is why the main idea of Horki anti-nuclear group that organized the meeting was to present alternative information to the public. The participants of the action supported the appeal to the authorities containing a demand to cancel the decision about the construction of a nuclear power plant.
A brochure “Mythology of Peaceful Atom” was presented at the meeting. A Horki journalist Eduard Brokarau hopes to destroy the main myths about the usefulness of nuclear power with its help.
