Nomination of members of district electoral commissions ended on July 24
The nomination of members of district electoral commissions ended in Belarus on July 24.
It was the last day when political parties, civil associations, workers' associations and citizens could suggest members of the commissions. According to the law, a commission can consist of 5-19 people.
District electoral commissions will be created by July 27.
The nomination of contenders of the parliamentary election is still in process. Contenders are collecting signatures in their support now. This stage of the election campaign will finish on August 1.
The parliamentary election is appointed for September 11.
